Celery juice is one of the most powerful healing drinks in the Soulcare lifestyle. Fresh, pure celery juice supports hydration, digestion, liver cleansing, mineral balance and the body’s natural ability to restore itself.

Celery Juice: The Soulcare Healing Drink
Celery Juice • Hydration • Liver Support • Digestion • Mineral Salts • Soulcare Cleansing
Fresh celery juice is best used pure, straight and on an empty stomach. From a Soulcare perspective, this allows the body to receive the unique mineral salts, hydration and cleansing support of celery without dilution.
Celery juice is a strongly alkaline drink that can support the body’s natural cleansing pathways. It is traditionally valued for helping with digestion, hydration, bloodstream purification, nerve relaxation, skin clarity and overall mineral balance.
Celery contains compounds called coumarins and is naturally rich in organic sodium, minerals and plant compounds that support the vascular system and help the body feel lighter and more balanced.
From a Soulcare healing perspective, fresh celery juice is one of the simplest daily practices for people who want to support the liver, stomach, digestion, adrenals, kidneys, lymphatic system and immune resilience.

Health Benefits of Celery Juice
Celery juice is widely used in natural healing and cleansing routines because it supports several important systems in the body. From a Soulcare perspective, it may help support:
- Digestive balance and chronic acid reflux support
- Immune resilience by helping the body cleanse and reduce pathogen burden
- Adrenal support through mineral-rich hydration
- Mineral salt replenishment through celery’s natural sodium compounds
- Liver cleansing and toxin elimination
- Urinary and kidney support through gentle cleansing action
- Skin clarity by supporting internal cleansing
- Bloating and digestive discomfort by supporting stomach acid and bile flow
- Nervous system support through minerals and hydration
- Hydration and electrolyte balance at a cellular level
Celery is also known as a natural diuretic and can help the body flush waste more effectively. Its mineral-rich profile makes it especially useful in a cleansing lifestyle.
Why Celery Juice Stands Alone
Celery juice is most powerful when it is consumed on its own. While mixed green juices are also healthy, they do not function in the same way as pure celery juice.
You can still enjoy juices made with spinach, kale, parsley, cilantro, apples or cucumber — but drink those at a different time of day. For the strongest celery juice practice, keep it simple: fresh celery only.
The Golden Rule
Drink pure celery juice by itself on an empty stomach. Do not add lemon, apple, cucumber, spinach, ginger, ice or other ingredients if your goal is the traditional celery juice healing protocol.
If you drink celery juice first thing in the morning, it can help prepare digestion for the foods you eat later in the day.
How Much Celery Juice Should You Drink?
A common daily amount is around 440 ml of fresh celery juice on an empty stomach. Some people may choose more, but it is best to start gently if you are sensitive, depleted, new to cleansing or dealing with strong symptoms.
If you are drinking around 1 litre per day, you may prefer to split it into two servings: one first thing in the morning and one later in the afternoon or early evening.
Simple Daily Protocol
- Drink 440 ml fresh celery juice.
- Drink it on an empty stomach.
- Wait 15–30 minutes before eating.
- Drink it immediately after juicing for best results.
- Use only celery — no added ingredients.
How to Make Celery Juice
Recipe: Pure Celery Juice
Best time: morning on an empty stomach | Serving: about 440 ml | Ingredients: celery only
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch of celery
Juicer Method
- Rinse the celery well.
- Run the celery through a juicer.
- Drink immediately for best results.
Blender Method
- Chop the celery.
- Blend in a high-speed blender until smooth.
- Strain well through a nut milk bag, clean cloth or fine strainer.
- Drink immediately.
When Is the Best Time to Drink Celery Juice?
The best time to drink celery juice is in the morning on an empty stomach, before consuming anything other than water or lemon water.
If you drink lemon water first, wait at least 15–30 minutes before drinking your celery juice. After celery juice, wait another 15–30 minutes before eating breakfast.
If morning is not possible, the second-best option is to drink celery juice:
- 15–30 minutes before a meal, or
- 30–60 minutes after a light snack, or
- 2 hours after a heavier meal.
Celery juice is not a calorie drink, so you will still need proper food afterward to fuel your day.
Does the Celery Have to Be Organic?
Organic celery is best where possible. If you cannot get organic celery, you can still use conventionally grown celery, but wash it very well.
Wash each stalk carefully and use a natural fruit and vegetable wash where available, such as Absolute Organix's Organic Fruit & Veg Spray. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
Tip: If celery tastes very bitter, old or chemical-heavy, try another supplier. Fresh, crisp celery makes a better juice.
Can I Make Celery Juice Ahead of Time?
It is best to drink celery juice immediately after juicing. Fresh celery juice is most alive and potent when consumed straight away.
If you have no other option, you can store it for up to 24 hours. Seal it tightly in a glass mason jar and keep it in the fridge. Do not leave it exposed to air for long periods.
Fresh is always best.
Can I Just Eat Celery Instead of Juicing It?
Eating celery is healthy and can absolutely be part of your diet. But from the traditional celery juice protocol perspective, juicing celery is different from eating celery.
Juicing removes the fibre and allows you to consume a much more concentrated amount of celery’s mineral-rich liquid. This is one of the reasons celery juice is used as a specific healing practice.
Blended celery with the pulp left in is not the same as strained celery juice. It may still be healthy, but it does not function in the same way.
Why Juice It?
Juicing allows you to receive a concentrated amount of celery’s liquid minerals without having to eat a huge amount of celery stalks at once.
Which Juicer Do We Recommend?

Celery juice is simple, but powerful. It does not need to be complicated, mixed, flavoured or turned into a smoothie. The power is in the purity.
From a Soulcare perspective, celery juice supports the body by helping improve hydration, digestion, liver cleansing, mineral balance and the body’s natural defence terrain.
If you are working with chronic symptoms, bloating, skin issues, fatigue, thyroid concerns, digestive discomfort, mystery symptoms or general heaviness, celery juice can be one of the easiest daily practices to begin.
The key is consistency. One glass once in a while may feel good, but the deeper transformation comes from making it part of your daily rhythm.
